This role involves working on projects for our Moss Vale team with a combination of working from home and office.

Reporting to the Associate Structural Engineer you will be given the opportunity to be involved in and lead all aspects of concept and detailed structural design and documentation on a diverse range of projects.

As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible to:

  • Attend client and stakeholder design meetings;
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes;
  • Preparing details project plans, including budgets, time forcasts and resource planning;
  • Preparation and submission of tenders and proposals
  • Provide a comprehensive structural engineering design service to clients;
  • Building Key client relationships;
  • Manage numerous projects to programme and budget;
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment; and
  • Mentor junior team members.

Your experience will include:

  • Engineering degree in structural or civil engineering;
  • Minimum 7 years’ post-graduate engineering consultancy experience;
  • Chartered Structural Engineer or close to achieving Chartered status;
  • A self-motivated, technically strong and competent individual able to work independently and also lead and direct a group of engineers and drafters;
  • Able to build and maintain effective client relationships; and
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.

We have monthly accrued days off (ADO's) as well as working on a hybrid model of Monday, Thursday and Friday in the office with flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
