Based in our Sutherland Office, you will be reporting to the Associate Structural Engineer, where you will be given the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of concept and detailed structural design and documentation on a diverse range of projects.

You will be responsible to:

• Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under supervision;

• Produce your designs using, and with knowledge of, the relevant design standards and codes;

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment; and

• Learn and help to prepare selected project briefs, scopes of work and fees under supervision.

Your experience and personality traits will include:

• Engineering degree in Structural or Civil Engineering;

• Ideally 2 years minimum post-graduate engineering consultancy experience;

• A self-motivated individual who can work independently, but is also comfortable in a team environment;

• Excellent communication and report writing skills;

• Knowledge in structural design in one or more of the materials - reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry; and

• Knowledge of, and/or experience with, our preferred software packages: RAPT, Microstran, Inducta, Strand7.

We enjoy monthly Accrued Days Off (ADO's), and as voted by the JN Team, we work in the office Monday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
