McCall Community Hub

We’re proud to be part of the $50 million initiative at the McCall Community Hub in Box Hill, which is set to redefine inclusive spaces in Sydney’s north-west.

The McCall Community Hub is more than just buildings; it’s a cornerstone of inclusivity, designed to empower individuals with disabilities and foster a sense of belonging. Perched atop a hill and overlooking the Box Hill community, the Hub’s reimagined design will integrate heritage buildings into a cohesive, welcoming space. When completed, it will feature sensory spaces, allied health rooms, multi-use spaces, a café and a fully accessible swimming pool, all thoughtfully designed to ensure that people of all abilities can fully engage with and benefit from its amenities.

Our structural engineering team played a crucial role in this project, providing structural design and documentation from the initial concept phase, through detailed design and now into the construction phase. The JN team were key in planning the integration of modern amenities with the site’s heritage, ensuring that the physical challenges of the site’s slope will not impede accessibility.

We’re proud to be working with McCall Gardens Community, Plus Architecture, MostynCopper, EMM Consulting Pty Limited, Durie Design and Buildcorp to bring this vision to life. Together, we are creating a space that fosters well-being and enhances connections within the community for generations to come.
