Rooty Hill
Rooty Hill RSL approached JN seeking our expertise to improve this iconic sporting venue, which now provides a world-class 4,000 square metre gymnastics facility where our Olympic champions can train and compete. The building also includes two pools, a 1,000-seat grandstand, reception and café area, and a large sports medicine clinic to service the various amateur and professional sporting teams of Western Sydney. JN was responsible for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, and sustainability engineering.
We worked closely with Cox Architects, as well as the project’s appointed builder and project manager to ensure our designs were both practical and in alignment with the ambience envisaged for the venue’s visitor experience. Thanks to our Building Services team, the building utilises sustainable power, as well as sustainable cooling and heating through the adjacent Rooty Hill RSL trigeneration plant.
