Joan Sutherland Theatre

The Joan Sutherland Theatre upgrade was designed to bring the theatre and its equipment up to the expectations of today’s audiences, performers and staff.

The project included a new theatre flying system, an improved grid-deck and rigging system, accessibility upgrades, enhanced acoustics and a range of safety, reliability and functionality improvements.

JN was responsible for the design and documentation of electrical and mechanical engineering services. Working in a tight space and to a tight deadline, our detailed 3D Revit coordination of the design proved crucial to our successful project delivery
