The extensive refurbishment of 17 Moore Street provides a stylish oasis for excellence and innovation in Canberra’s CBD. The landmark, six-storey building embodies an appealing contemporary design with a striking new façade, complete refurbishment of the entrance lobby, new upper floor lift lobbies, premium floors and ceilings, upgraded bathrooms and new end-of-trip facilities.

JN was engaged by the building’s owner, CorVal, to help enhance tenant amenity and reduce ongoing costs via our Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire and Structural Engineering services.

Energy efficiency was a paramount objective. The building now boasts the latest in environmental technology, including LED lighting and an extensive 211 panel, 56 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system.

The building has achieved a 5 star NABERS energy rating, and it has the capacity to achieve a 5.5 star rating – a grading never before attained for a pre-existing building in Canberra.
