At JN, we’re always on the lookout for ways to foster strong relationships between our team members. Our recent Annual Golf Day was a hole-in-one success, bringing together our Sydney, Wollongong and Sutherland offices for some friendly competition on the greens.

What began as a small game of golf over 40 years ago has evolved into one the most anticipated events on the JN calendar. Mark Williams, Associate Structural & Remedial Engineer and one of our longest-standing team members, went above and beyond investing his own time in coordinating the entire day. Our admin superstars Lesley, Lauren, Danielle and Georgia were the behind-the-scenes heroes who kept things running smoothly by placing orders, booking buses and preparing food.

We kicked off the day arriving at Boomerang Golf Course in Maddens Plains at a chilly 7am to a warm and welcome breakfast prepared by our Building Services Director, Greg Chambers. And for a caffeine boost, Scott McLaughlin, Building Services Director (and JN House Barista!), was on hand to make some fantastic coffee. Lunch was served up by the BBQ King himself, our Managing Director, Mark Molloy. The weather was ideal, and everyone had a blast completing the 18-hole course in eight teams of 32 players. Mark put it perfectly by saying, “Another great event, and wonderful to see our teams getting along so well and having a relaxed day out of the office!”.
